I’m an illustrator and surface pattern designer who loves color, character, pattern, and the tiny unexpected details that make people look twice. I create artwork for textiles, paper, gift, home décor, children’s products, and other licensed applications, blending hand-drawn charm with the flexibility of digital design.
I’ve spent more than 25 years creating illustrations, patterns, brands, and products, so I understand how to make art that is not only fun to look at, but also works in the real world. I enjoy building full collections with hero artwork, coordinating prints, icons, alternate colorways, and plenty of possibilities for products.
Inspiration can come from almost anywhere: vintage textiles, old books, flea markets, nature, window shopping, my favorite animated shows and films, and the occasional salamander spotted on a hike. My work tends to be colorful, playful, a little whimsical, and occasionally just strange enough to be interesting.
I’m based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and currently creating original illustration and surface pattern collections available for licensing and representation.
